Conditions, when specified, are coded concepts expressed in a standard vocabulary (e.g., Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes [LOINC], Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine – Clinical Terms [SNOMED – CT]). These may include indications of "substance abuse" or "HIV-related" illnesses, etc.
